In the mid twentieth century, a wave of Indian and Bangladeshi immigrants revolutionised British food forever.
They adapted the recipes of their countries of origin to incorporate British produce and local tastes. In so doing, they created a brand new cuisine: Anglo-Indian, which has become so loved, that the British national dish is now considered to be Chicken Tikka Masala.
We're paying tribute, with an Anglo-Indian tasting menu, celebrating the fusion of these two rich cultures. To include:
Chicken Tikka Masala (of course!)
Home-baked naan bread and homemade chutneys
On Saturdays, we do something different.
One Saturday a month, Muse goes back to how it all began... a secret supperclub in the apartment of Muse founders Caroline & Tobias.
With special themes relating to the season, regional or international specialities, celebrations, or other special dates, the Muse cooks relish the chance to get creative for special one-off events.
And occasionally, of course, we still host the original Thyme Supperclub itself.
